You have Hollywood to thank for misleading you all these years: the bald eagle's. My favorite parts: Brian’s swim back to the plane to get the emergency kit, the attack of the wild animal (with a scary roar!), and the helicopter rescuing Brian with funny blop-blop-blop noises. The sound most commonly associated with this imposing bird is actually the badass screech of the red-tailed hawk. The disgusting result of Brian’s eating of “gut-berries” was classily handled. I liked the attention to detail: how the “sky” turns to a starry night, how the tornado disarranges the landscape, and even how we get a glimpse of the corpse of the pilot when Brian decides to return to the sunken plane. It is housed in a matte single-pocket jacket with artwork by Drew Wise. The release is a single LP on 180g vinyl. at the beginning, with an animated line indicating the progress of Brian’s plane’s route, was a good way to establish the terms of the story and situate us in it. Black Screen Records have released a free vinyl compilation album with music from 14 different indie games to celebrate their fifth anniversary. Good use of a combination of narrative intertitles, Brian’s spoken lines, and dialogue intertitles to tell the story-and Brian’s vocal performance was convincing and well-done. champagne plopp bottle open plop blop.wav - mp3 version champagne plopp bottle open plop blop.wav - ogg version champagne plopp bottle open plop blop.wav - waveform champagne plopp bottle open plop blop.wav - spectrogram 8694.

#BLOP BLOP WATER SOUNDS MOVIE#

This movie made good use of sound effects-the plane zooming across the map, the roar of the plane’s engine inside the cabin, the splashing of water, the crazy combination of noises for the plane crash (including the odd comic boing), and more. I like how the movie used not only Legos to tell the story, but also rocks, bits of vegetation, intertwined black-and-white pipe cleaners (to represent a “tornado” whipping through), and even real water for Brian to swim in! I also liked the way Brian jumped “in” and “out” of the water by showing only certain body parts entering or emerging from the blue Lego blocks that represented water. Did not know the sound of water droplets could replace ticking clocks. Judges’ Remarks: Ingenious and elaborate! This was very resourceful stop-motion Lego animation.
